Don’t contemplate

Be void contemplating void.
So I thought on this for a good part of the day before getting any sort of idea. The only thing that kept coming to mind was Eric Idle’s quote
“You come from nothing, you go back to nothing. What have you lost? Nothing!”
All of this during the song “Always look on the bright side of life”, the ending of the movie Life of Brian where the titles character ends up being crucified. It’s a very Taoist thought. Things may go hellish, and things may suck. It’s not like it’s really going to matter after you’re gone.

The ~ he thought it was a haiku… meditation is about embracing the void. It’s about letting everything go and feeling the wonders of nothing, of embracing nothing.
Very Taoist.
